Olympic

The Olympic hub is the multi-sport shelf. Swimming, gymnastics, and the track share a calendar and a kind of week: event practice, a strength block, and recovery treated as training. Katie Ledecky, Léon Marchand, and Simone Biles are the three indexed pieces. Femke Bol’s hurdles camp sits one door over on athletics, sprinting, and track & field, and it belongs in the same conversation.

Ledecky’s Olympic gold in the 800 freestyle is the historical anchor in her own piece. Marchand is the medley and the dryland weights. Biles is the power and the plate. Read them as three answers to “what does an Olympic week actually contain?” rather than as a medal table.

Use the sibling hubs when you want one sport. Use the goal hubs when you want dryland strength, conditioning, or the meals, pulled out of the sport. Start here if you have not picked a door yet.

Start with Katie Ledecky — distance freestyle and the Olympic file.
